Then, shape the dough to fit the pan, top it with your own blend of favorite toppings, and give it a totally new, preferred taste! Really easy, right?

How to Prepare This Vegetarian Whole Wheat Pizza
Making the crust is the first step in making this pizza dish. Do not let the thought of creating your own pizza dough scare you. You’ll see how easy and enjoyable it is to create after you give it a try! While the dough is proofing, prepare the tomato sauce (ideally homemade), sauteed mushrooms and onions, grate Parmesan, and prepare all other vegetables and ingredients you plan to use.
Step 1: Gather all the ingredients for making the dough. In a larger bowl, sift the whole wheat flour, and add instant yeast, salt, and melted butter. Mix well. In a cup where you measured warm water, add honey, and mix well to dissolve. Add the warm water with honey gradually to the flour, and mix with a spatula simultaneously. Mix all the ingredients until the dough starts forming. The dough will be sticky, but just add more flour to get it off your hands, and so it can be kneaded more easily.
Step 2: Sprinkle your work surface with some flour to prevent sticking while kneading, and knead the dough for 2-5 minutes. If needed, sprinkle some more flour on the dough to prevent sticking. Once done with kneading, shape the dough into a ball, and leave it to rest in a warmer place for 1 hour. (You can leave it at room temperature, in a greased bowl, and covered with plastic wrap + covered with a heavy blanket).
Step 3: In the meantime, grate Parmesan and leave it aside; heat the pan with some butter or olive oil and salt, and saute sliced mushrooms and diced onion until the water released from the mushrooms evaporates. Once done, leave aside.
Step 4: Once the dough is rested, place the dough back on the surface sprinkled with some flour, and divide the dough into 2 halves (you can save one in the refrigerator for up to 2 days to make one more pizza). Roll the pizza dough with a rolling pin to fit your baking pan. Once done, place it in a greased pizza pan. With a knife or a fork poke a few holes/splits into the dough before baking, to help it bake better and equally.

Preheat the oven to 190°C (degree Celsius) is 374°F (degree Fahrenheit).
Step 5: Put all your favorite toppings – tomato sauce, olives, sauteed mushrooms and onion, grated Parmesan, salt, oregano, and other vegetables of choice! Place to bake for 15-30 minutes (ovens vary) or until the crust is hard, and has a golden color. Get it out of the oven, and cover it with the kitchen towel so the crust can soften a bit. Don’t let it cool completely, just for a few minutes – it’s better when it’s still warm!
